A weird, wonderful and random selection of ideas

Now that the GCSE and A-level projects are underway, the variety of ideas and Starting Points continue to expand and diversify. Take a look at these examples which came in yesterday. All the Art staff agree that it is great to see you using the camera as a creative tool in order too generate expressive and personal compositions.
It is impossible to name everyone - sorry if you have been left out - but well done to 'Hughesey', Chris Wiseall, Kirsty Grant, Sam Thacker, Annie Dowell, Adam's girlfriend (?), Saffron and Joe in Shippo's group. Nice one.
P.S. Take a look at Grant Cooke's 'Request' from the previous blog - can you help? Cheers.

Girly Grant Dolls House Request

Calling all you dolls house enthusiasts - I know you're out there - Grant Cooke in our 6th form requires a dolls house - don't laugh - as part of his Personal Study. An size or condition will do. Unfortunately the dolls house cannot be returned. Please see Grant or come down to T6. Grant says 'Thank You'.

GCSE and A-level exam projects have started

Our Year 11 and 6th form students are all now well into their examination project. All sorts of ideas have been used - from red umbrellas, a pack of cards, hoodies and a famous pair of Kickers. But what are our 6th form girls doing? Ask Emma Freeman and her friends who have re-created a piece by the Chapman Brothers. Who are the Hoodie Boys? And who is holding all the cards?
