Midnight in New York...

.... and my body clock doesn't know which way is up!!! So time for just a few photos from today. After a breakfast at the local diner (plates of food bigger than some student's heads), we yomped up 5th Ave (after calling in at Macey's) to visit the Guggenheim and The Metropolitan. Tired legs then wobbled us up Broadway again this evening for dinner. MOMA tomorrow (Mr Charles is so excited he can barely... Actually no... He's out cold!).

 

 

What time is it?

It's not often I'll sit in bed writing a blog entry at 6 in the morning... but my body is convinced that it's 11am and Mr Charles is fast asleep in the bed next to mine (we're the Eric and Ernie of the Art Department.. [ask your Mum]) so I need something to do!

Times Square was phenomenal last night... and we spent the first 20 minutes picking up dropped jaws! It's the Guggenheim today, and we are aiming to hit the EarthCam web-cam in Times Square on Thursday to wave at you all (details if time to follow). Google it for a link to see If you can find us! We'll only be there for 5 mins so be prompt! (And we won't be able to see you waving back!!! [but that doesn't mean you shouldn't!!!]). More photos tonight if I get the chance. Have a nice day!

Year 10 visit to British Museum

A 'FANTASTIC' day out at the British Museum with Year 10! Looking specifically at the African and Egyptian collections - the group made drawings and notes to help support the cultural project they are currently working on. A great big 'Thanks' from the Art Department to all of you that went. You were great!
