Kristie, Sarah and possibly Siobhan and Guy need to be particularly aware of this as their work is technically dependent on studio time. I will be staying late when I can to help during any after school session - but email me if you need to make sure.

Please pass on the information in this post to all members of the group if you get the chance.

Well done you lot - we finally made it and the exam days will shortly be here. Over the Easter holiday you can do a check list to make sure that everything is in place.
Remember, marks are awarded for:
  • Studies from direct observation
  • Artist connections
  • Planning
  • Final piece.

If anything is missing get it done! All these sections carry loads of marks.

The Art Department will be open on Wednesday, April 15th (the 2nd Wednesday during the holiday) between 9.00 am and 12.00 am just in case you need to come in and make final preparations.

Have you drawn out your final piece? Do you need to prepare the background?

Our A-level students are reminded to mount all their work ready for the final assessment. Good luck with this - I am sure you will make an excellent job. Remember to include some of your photographs as part of planning. Crop your written work into smaller, paragraph size, sections.

Contact me if you need to - rogercharles@chellaston.derby.sch.uk

Have a great holiday. Chill. Get all the art work done - we are almost there. See you soon.
