More of our A-level students meet the deadline and submit their work for assessment as they build up toward their exam project and the annual Assembly Rooms Exhibition. Expectations of these two students are high - as you can guess from the quality of their final outcomes.
We hear a lot about the Uganda project at school. Rebecca went there last year to see for herself the reality of the situation. So strong was the experience that her visit has been used to inspire this analytical and technically sound drawing.
My name is Kiren. I am a 13 A level art student and this is part of my coursework project. Chalk and charcoal have been used to produce these impressive portraits of my boyfriend. I worked on these peices for about 3 weeks - and I found working in these particular materials direct and relatively quick. My research work consisted of reference to Beatrice Milhazes and Mary Cassatt.
