12AVCE - Proud Mr Amps and his Designer Footwear

Let me introduce you to some of the latest work by our Year12AVCE students. These designer shoes were produced as part of Mr Amps Unit 1 and as you can see they include a range of 2-D and 3-D skills. As part of the vocational aspect of the course our students researched into the 'DarkBoy and Shoddy' business which prides itself on the high quality of designer foot wear they make.

DarkBoy and Shoddy have once again sponsored the unit and Mr Amps is proud to announce that the 'winner' of the project will receive £50 in cash and a pair of their own footwear designed by the company. The prizes will be presentes to the winning student at our annual Assembly Rooms Exhibition very soon. The two runners- up will also be announced.
It gives us enormous delight to announce that Laura Dowsett and Alice Crawford were chosen by the company as runners-up.

The cash prize and designer shoe wear this year goes to - and a big round of applause please - AMY EVANS.
Both artists made very positive comments about all the entries this year and feedback will be made available in class very soon.

    I love all of your shoes, they're really detailed and are amazing. it looks like you've all worked really (!) hard on all your shoes and it pays off, phenominal work! -x-
